Our Newels are engineered, consisting of an Oak core with 8mm Oak cladded faces to leave a seamless finish with no joint lines.

90mm x 43mm x 1500L.

This product has an optional polyurethane lacquer finish at an extra cost.

This product is natural oak which may contain Medullary Rays and are celebrated by us as the finest quality oak.

What is a stop chamfered newel post?

It is a square oak post with the corners planed off (chamfered) along the middle section, leaving square ends, a classic detail that suits traditional and transitional staircases.
Do you supply full and half newel posts?

Yes, full posts anchor the open side of the balustrade and half posts fix against a wall so the rails line up neatly.
Can I replace just the newel post?

Often yes, though if the post is structural take care and make sure the replacement is fixed securely before removing the old one.
